Happy Solstice

Yes,I am aware that I'm 6 hours late, but I've been cooking and cleaning since 8:00 this morning. Just taking a few minutes off my feet before heading back into the fray before guests arrive at 6:30. I've made homemade pasta and sauces like we learned in Italy for dinner. We have Prosceco, domestic sparkling wine, red wine, and various non-alc drinks. The tables are set (20 places) and the DD is trying to get out of helping with the rest of the prep. sigh. She's really been very helpful today. We don't usually work her this hard.

Yesterday morning we had a lovely Twisting the Rope ritual at church and I'm going to use the rope again tonight. Last night I made a cameo appearance in Studio East's production of 'Twas the Night. Lot of stuff going on for a single weekend.

Well, I don't have time to go into a lot of detail at the moment, so I will leave you all with an Italian toast for the New Year: "May your bills be short and your Tagliatelli long."
