It’s a slow—I mean “snow”—day

When I moved from Minneapolis to Seattle in 1991, I swore I’d never shovel snow again. Mostly I’ve kept that pledge by simply not going anywhere if it snows here. There have been a couple of notable exceptions over the years, but today is not one of them. My agenda for the day today is

  • Have another cup of coffee
  • Dress
  • Take the dogs for a walk in the snow
  • Have another cup of coffee
  • Work a puzzle
  • Park in front of the computer to handle all the things that unfortunately don’t shut down on a snow day because now we don’t have to leave the house to go to work. That means that my taxes, the promo for Steven George & The Dragon, the eBook creation, the audio book work, the updates to LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, MSAlum, blogs, and other stuff, all goes on as usual. I’m just a little slower at getting to them because, after all, this is a snow day.
  • Have another cup of coffee

I suppose that since it’s after 9:00, I should get the DD out of bed and make her walk the dogs with me. That should liven up the morning!
