PNWA Writers Conference by the numbers

These are mostly SWAGs, but here is what the conference last week looked like for me.

500 attendees

150 bookmarks for The Gutenberg Rubric printed on letterpress and handed out

96 literary competition finalists

90 miles driven back and forth to conference and airport

85 business cards collected for mailing list

71 hours of conference sessions, workshops, and presentations

65 business cards given away

60 dollars spent on coffee, wine, lunches

20 new young writer friends the daughter introduced to me

16 hours on my feet at the display table

15 conversations with editors and agents (personally) beyond “hi.”

12 literary competition winners

10 copies of The Gutenberg Rubric sold & signed
