The Changing World of Book Marketing and the Rise of the Independent Book Blogger

I spent a post last Monday extolling the virtues of a dozen book bloggers who had invited me to be a guest poster on my virtual tour. I’m not going to revisit that other than to say “read the post” and for goodness sakes, visit all their blogs. They are awesome people.

Yesterday, however, I had the pleasure of meeting one of the book bloggers I’ve been corresponding with over the past year and a half, and who hosted my post on ink Friday. Tif of http://tiftalksbooks.com is one of over 500 book bloggers who participated in Armchair BEA in May. In fact, she is one of the organizers and was swamped with emails and give-aways. But the conversation with Tif got me thinking about how book marketing is changing, even as you read this post….

I may be a week late in expressing my full appreciation for book bloggers, but it is heartfelt.
