Okay so Seattle has some Champions

The Seahawks unbelievably will go to the SuperBowl XL in two weeks. I didn't watch the game (I don't watch much hockey) and didn't know the score until yesterday, though you could hear the celebration all over the State.

Now for the real champions: Olympia, which keeps its own precipitation records instead of depending on SeaTac Airport) recorded 35 straight days of rain before the sun shone on the Seahawks on Sunday. Yes, the rest of us in the region have to do with SeaTac's record keeping that had no precipitation last sunday, so we stopped at 28 straight days of rain, even though we ended up with 34 of the last 35. Previous record back in the 50s was 33 straight days of rain. We've had a couple nice days now, so it looks like it will wait till the weekend to start raining again.

So, hooray for Olympia (and the Seahawks). We have a couple new records.

I've finished rewriting chapter twelve which used to be chapter ten. I figure there are still four chapters to go till the end of the book. Dragon has been great at giving me prompt feedback on every chapter. We are going to make the Feb 10 filing deadline for the PNWC contest. I am determined, even if I'm not satisfied. There will always be more re-writes.

Early meeting tomorrow morning, so time for bed tonight.
