<a href="http://www.accidentalwitness.blogspot.com>Chapter Six A & B</a>

Alex confronts Pol about her desire to hire Aaron. He's not happy, but Pol is in charge. Aaron and Jack investigate the scene of the accident and just find more enigmas, so they're headed south to hear Pol speak on MLK Day. Wow, I only had a couple hours to write this evening, but cranked out 2239 words. That's way below the daily average. So the stats are:
Total Word Count: 32,902
Days without shaving: 9
Total pounds lost: 2

So, the rotten news is that I won't be able to make a trip to either Boston or DC to complete my novel as I intended (need the miles for my frequent flyer status) because I have to go to Fort Lauderdale this weekend, and it's not pleasure. My sister's storage cubicle was mashed in by the hurricane we just found out and we have to sort through the family artifacts and find out what is salvageable. We'll ship that out here to Seattle and dispose of the rest. She is really bummed and I said I'd go out with her. I guess I'll have around ten hours each way of writing time, though, assuming my batteries are still functioning and I can go without sleep that long. Red eyes, bah!

Hmph, my version of this story goes, "Yesterday, I somehow wrote almost 2000 words on a weekday! I was amazed!" :P

Anyway.. that stinks about the family artifacts. Hope you guys manage to save most of it.
Thanks. Yeah it really sucks, but the whole place down there is a mess at the moment. I've been talking to those water recovery places that dry things out and all. They say they couldn't even look at the stuff for six to eight weeks. And there don't seem to be any storage cubes there to hold stuff, so we don't have any choice but to bring it to Seattle.
