First 2/3 of Chapter Seven

Well, after absolutely almost no writing yesterday (45 minutes at Jerzy's in which I managed about 500 words) I went to a couple write-ins today and popped out 4700. Not near what I had hoped today as I'm working toward 50k by the time I catch that plane tomorrow night. We'll see. Right now I'm just waiting to check-in (remotely) at 10:45 and watching a little James Bond. They really screwed up by not having Brosnan back for the next Bond. Nobody's going to believe in that blond milquetoast they hired.
But here's my favorite in the book: Aunt Hattie just showed Aaron that she is indeed mad. The prize lines:

“I’ve been up there, Aunt Hattie,” Aaron said quietly. “It’s a strange place, that church.”
Hattie’s eyes suddenly cleared and she looked directly at Aaron. “Oh, dearie,” she said brightly. “That’s not a church, that’s their spaceship.”

So here are today's stats:
Total Word Count: 41,636
Days without Shaving: 12
Total Pounds lost: 1.4

After Bond and check-in, I may just keep writing tonight.
